The Research Behind Our Work<\/p>\n
This research emerged out of the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award and sponsored the Working Her Out project\u2014bringing Abi Cook-Singh together with women across South Australia and Western Australia to explore rural family business sustainability from the perspective of our leading ladies.<\/p>\n
Spanning fourteen years, the project collected insights through written questionnaires, poetry, letters, recordings, and focus group participation. We are so grateful for the transparency and honesty shared by these Australian rural women and look forward to speaking to their resilience, passion, incredible skills, and business acumen. We also acknowledge them as the linchpin of the family unit.<\/p>\n
